I'm assessing my commitments at the moment and taking a short break from 100 Betting.

Value Bet: New Little Bric have race run to suit

This race is made for the NLB and Ruby Walsh combo. There's a lot of horses in the race who like to race up with the pace and I can just see Ruby letting the them race away, and cut their own throats if you like, before pouncing late. A Grade 1 winner at this track over fences, NLB ran a race full of promise last time and would have been closer over an inadequate trip if not for taking the roots out of the 4th last. At the prices he's a good bet.
£20 win New Little Bric 3.45 Sandown @ 13-2 William Hill

Back In The Game

Having been on a bit of a poor run of late I decided to go back to the drawing board and revise how I approach my betting. I've been away and had a big think and hopefully that'll show in my tipping. I need to get back to the days when I was backing big-priced winners on a regular basis and I know that'll take more research and study than I've been able to do for the last month. So stay tuned for a new and improved 100 Betting!
Talking of this weekend, I've managed to get a big investor into the Scoop Group syndicate for Saturday's monster pool. To find out more visit http://www.scoopgroup.co.uk/.

Value Bet: get on Crocodile Bay and make it snappy!

Second best in on adjusted figures, in the 2.40 at Southwell, added to the fact that he's never been out of the first three in five attempts at the track means he's each-way value.
£20 e/w Crocodile Bay 2.40 Southwell @ 9-2 BP

Value Bet: golden Virginia

86976 are harldy inspiring form figures, but despite this Sweet Virginia is still worth a little wager at a monster price. Having backed her last time at Kempton at a huge price, when ridden by a very weak claimer, I watched as she made a very big move from the back of the pack with 3f to go which nearly took her to the lead. She faded shortly after, but I'm of the opinion that had she been held on to for longer she may have been alot closer and she's worth a punt today with a better jockey onboard.
£20 win Sweet Virginia 2.55 Wolverhampton @ 28-1 Stan James (price guaranteed)

100 Betting Bets: the 'A's are the way to go

Howard Johnson is bang in form and I like the look of Akilak in the 2.05 at Cheltenham. He too is in form and likes the soft/heavy ground. With decent form here in a Triumph Hurdle from a few years back, he also has a course win to his name and will be one of the few in the race that comes here with ticks in virtually all the boxes.
Over at Doncaster According To Pete also has conditions to run a major race, despite a hefty weight to carry. The nature of the track is ideal for this big galloping type and the fact that he races up with the pace is also a plus given that very few runners came from behind yesterday. It could be a case that he leads all the way.
£20 win Akilak 2.05 Cheltenham @ 6-1 Coral
£20 win According To Pete 3.25 Doncaster @ 11-2 Ladbrokes
£10 double @ SP

Value Bet: Immense looks immense

From a stable in form, totally unexposed, open to improvement and with a canny claiming jockey up - just four reason's to back Immense in the 12.50 at Doncaster. Add the fact that in the past ten years Jonjo O'Neill has had one winner and one place from two runners in the race suggests that Immense is coming here as part of a little plan.

100 Betting Bet: Hand Painted, hand picked

Ealry moves suggests that Peter Makin's Hand Painted could be the one to be with in the 6.50 at Kempton, a fact backed up by a contact of mine suggesting there's some proper faces on already. He's had the mandatory three runs to qualify him for his mark and being by Lend A Hand he's sure to appreciate the surface. These factors added to Makin's 17% strike rate at the track means there's only one option - GET ON!
£70 win Hand Painted 6.50 Kempton @ 7-2 Coral

Value Bet: Destiny Hill pure Goldie

Jim Goldie is a trainer to watch out for at Musselburgh as he now and again has a horse that gets gambled on big style. His Destiny Hill looks a type to improve on everything he's done so far and is worth a bet at the current best price of 16-1. The way he stayed-on last time suggests that this step-up to 3m should be right up his street and the fact that it was his first run since March last year means he should come on a ton for that run. He also just has the nine runs to his name and added to the fact that he carries only 10-5 today means he has potential and conditions on his side. Get on!
£20 win Destiny Hill @ 16-1 Skybet
